Hello everybody. We made some good progress on our EP this week. The songs are all starting to come together, and they're already sounding pretty fucking good, if I do say so myself. Here are the tunes I've not been able to get out of my head lately.

The Youngbloods – Get together

A wonderful lesser-known band from the 60s. Though they didn't write it, their version of this song became the most well-known. Its message of peace & love still rings clear today.

Carole King – Jazzman

Those are some sweet saxophone licks. Also yes, this is the song from that one Simpsons episode.

Henry Mancini – The pink panther theme

The tune that defines the word cool. Pure jazz from start to finish. This is musical perfection.

Huey Lewis – The power of love

This, on the other hand, is wonderful piece of 80s cheese. For when you just want to have a good time.

AC/DC – You shook me all night long
